Shri Vishwesha Theertha Swamiji

Sri Sri Madhwacharya, the founder of Popular Madhwa Philosophy and the founder of Srikrishna Temple at Udupi, Sri Sri Vadiraja Swamiji of Sode Mutt, Sri Sri vijayadhwaja Teertha, Pandit Trivikramacharya and so many Vaishnava Saints have come from Udupi Shivalli Tradition.  Their teachings and preachings are ideals of our life, which should be properly perceives and practiced in our daily life.  Our traditional inheritance is the Dharma and Samskruthi as enunciated in their treatises which should be respected preserved and practiced.  Shivalli Brahmin have a long tradition behind them which is special to themselves.  As time passed the strong tradition of Shivalli Culture started eroding.  Which should be strengthened and preserved for the future.

Sri Sri Mdhwacharya said – the life is transient but the fruits of life can be be devided broadly in three – Vidya (Knowledge), Karma (Work), Suta (Nest generation).

Knowledge is the Philosophical knowledge of Religions scriptures.  It influences our culture which will still be deposited in our Atma and carried to forward to our next birth.

Karma is good doings in our daily life, the fruits of which are also carried to our next births.

The third fruit is our future generation. Our sons and daughters  who may learn the greatest things of shivalli philosophy and ideology which will be carried forward down to ages.  The teachings and preachings of our ancient sages and seers should reach down our sons and grandsons and this is called descending tradition.
