There will be difference of opinions. As per me :-
In the olden days, mouth-to-mouth teaching was the only method of learning. It is correct in a sense that the Guru can rectify any mistakes that the shishya would do, like wrong pronunciation, etc. Now we have various means of learning, like CDs, DVDs, etc.
If a devoted person feels that mouth-to-mouth (guru mukhena) learning is impossible due to some reason, then he can very well learn from audio/video recordings. Audio files of Sri Hari Vayu stuti are available in the internet, sung by Sri Vidyabhushana and Sri Dr. Sureshacharya (Principal of Samskrit college Udupi)

A very nice effort. Downloading ‘Baraha’ and copy paste this will give the exact Sanskrit,Kannada, or Telugu version of Harivaayustuti. It would have been more useful if you include this point in all the transliterated shlOkA s.
