Subramanya Bhat.

\\ Advaita looks more practical and very lucid and is accepted world over\\

Let me bring it to your senses that even Islam and christianity are accepted all over, in fact, christianity ranks one, in no of followers. Basing your arguments on such a factor hence is useless and futile.

Science for your information talks about REAL things. REAL things in real world. Empiricism is first and foremost of the required factors for science based on which validation is carried out. Note that you denying the very reality you're experiencing is ridiculed by science and is at best laughable. I suggest you Mr Subramanya Bhat to pls go through works and most importantly SCIENCE so that you'll realize what the subject actually promotes.

Dear readers
When in deep meditation as the consiousness goes into oblivion and prana comes to the middle of eye brows the feeling of "I" completely vanishes;where is the question of dvaita feeling over there.IT IS ADVAITA ALL OVER.
Let us be practical and scientific even in spiritualism and accept what we experience and not accept anying and something just because it is written.

Fantastic article by Prasanna tadipatri.!
The thing that the parents play a very crucial role in bringing awareness about our philosophy among the youths is very nicely explained.
Furthermore as rightly stated in the article i too had a misconception that the pravachanas should be attended by the elderly people . Some years ago when Pontiff of UTTARADIMATHA SRI SATYATMATEERTHARU was on his regular periodic victory travel( digvijaya) to my town , i was pulled to mutt by my mother though i was disinterested ..BUT on hearing the discourse by swamiji i was really taken aback .
I started to think for myself on the things said , started going everyday to mutt and couldnt even miss to hear swamiji's discourse even a single day in his one month stay in hubli as i had gradually started to develop interest in dwaita philosophy and devotion towards Lord Shri Hari. There was a drastic change in my life ..Today whatever I am I owe it to my Guru SHRI SATYATMATEERTHARU

Im looking forward for many such thought provoking articles from you.

@ Ms. Swathi R

Thank you very much for your encouraging words. Spreading the right knowledge and kindling interest in the minds of people about tradition and philosophy are in fact our goals of publishing this article in the website.

The best way to study tattvavada would be to first listen to discourses by eminent Madhwa scholars such as Sri Bannanje Govindacharya. Being a resident of Chennai, I hope you can understand Kannada. Whenever you visit Udupi or Bengaluru you can buy CDs of Bannanje's pravachanas.

There are some websites which give provision to download and listen to recorded pravachanas by many other scholars. There is another website which broadcasts LIVE pravachanas of Sri Sri Vidyadheesha teertharu of Palimaru maTha.
