ನಮ್ಮ ಸಮಾಜದಲ್ಲಿ ಧರ್ಮಪೀಠಕ್ಕೆ ಹೊಸಮುಖವನ್ನು ಕೊಟ್ಟ ಮೊದಲ ಯತಿ ಶ್ರೀ ವಿಶ್ವೇಶ ತೀರ್ಥರು. ‘ದೀನ ಸೇವೆ ಸಾಧಕನಿಗೆ ಅನಿವಾರ್ಯ ಕರ್ತವ್ಯ’ ಎಂಬ ಶ್ರೀ ಮಧ್ವಾಚಾರ್ಯರ ಸಂದೇಶವನ್ನು ಕಾರ್ಯರೂಪಕ್ಕೆ ತಂದವರು ಶ್ರೀ ಶ್ರೀಗಳವರು. ತತ್ವಜ್ನಾನ ವೈಯಕ್ತಿಕ ಸಾಧನೆಗಷ್ಟೇ ಮೀಸಲಾಗದೆ, ಸಾಮಾಜಿಕ ಹಿತಕ್ಕೂ ಪೂರಕವಾಗಬೇಕೆಂಬ
