Very good and detail information about Sode Vadiraja Mutha and Swamiji. I heard about them and their excellent knowledge/intelligence but after reading this article I came to know many information. As a follower of Madhwa being Vaishnava Brahimn, we all must know Vairaja Swamiji’s greatness and story. I will be visiting Sonde (Sirsi) soon (though I am from this district, I never been to Sode Mutha) and taking blessing of Vadiraja Swami Brindavan and blessing of Sri Trivikrama , Mukyaprana and Bhuta Raja Devaru.

Very very informative
Although being a Maadhwa myself, I was ignorant about such greatness of Sri Vadiraja.
My desire to visit Sode becomes all the more.

I think one more information left from the history. Vadiraja Theertharu created astha Ballala’s beedu to support paryaya and extend madhva Dharma through out tulunadu… out of astha Ballala’s two were at Udupi and other 6 at South canara(including Kasaragod). This is our belief. After Tippu’s attack and inter mathastha’s collision every Ballala’s lost their beedu and relationships.
