The principle of Taratamya, pancha bhedas and sarvothamatva are the hard cores to understand. Common man like me struggles to please the gods or ishtadevatas. In real sense, to some extent man goes on worshiping all gods. When troubles and problems arise one after the other, immediately he loses faith in god. Why? When trouble starts — oh god help me… then again problem … oh god why are you not helping me…. problem continues… for me there is no god… he has become just statue/ stone. It shows that there is no total surrender to god. What is the solution..?
Whether your cry is heard by all your gods or not… we do not know. When we worship more than one god.. there may be confusion among them itself. So u must and should have one media which invariably and definitely take your cry or prayer to the destiny or all destinies (all gods), perfectly and in right spirit. You give all samarpana to such media (god or guru or devata whatever it may be- here I mentioned Guru) whole heartedly and according to the strength of ur belief in that media ur prayer shall be heard and definitely be rewarded.
We are too small persons to discuss hard core issues like Taratamya, pancha bhedas and sarvothamatva. Bhakti and samarpana are only 2 things which are within our reach.

We have to do upasana of Guru( Ex.Vadiraja )as guru only not as god ,but we always take guru as gods main idol (prathika)We worship god in him.As in mother,father .elder etc

Our shiva temple is located near Udupi the place called Kalathur ( Near Kaup )

If any chance comes please visit the temple, that is an ancient temple ( 1000 years back )

My father Mr. Keshava Tantry is doing pooja at the temple.

There need not be any arguement. Guru Madhwacharya himself was meditating in Anantheshwara. Actually there is no difference in basic Madhwa cult. Do you know one secret… most of the shivalli brahmins around udupi are having SHIVA as their gramadevatha and are having shivalayas. Kota smartha brahmins have Narasimha swami as their Lord. Is it contradicting? No… not at all. I think we are too small to argue on this. Are u a real brahmin… then leave all arguements…. see your ISHTADEVATHA … in all … everywhere….. and in every god… Surrender to him whole heartedly …. leave no chance for illusions… find his grace in all … either good or bad … even sometimes bad happens for the good in future … this is true only to those who surrender to the ISHTADEVATHA completely. This is the Dwaitha paraTantra… so beautiful… Madhwa matha… Don’t make it so cheap to discriminate… Do you know one more thing… Our Acharyas have seen LAKSMINARASIMHA in everything and in every god, including SHIVA, then who are we to argue beyond that.

HOW TO SURRENDER ONESELF….? SEE HERE…

Maathaa Raajaa mathpithaa Vaadirajo Bhraathaa Raaja mathsakhaa Vadiraajaha |
Sarvaswam Me Vaadirajo Dayaalurnaanyaddaivam naiva jaane na jaane||

that means I am totally surrendering to Vadiraja and He is , not only god, everything for me.
