I watched…”Introduction to Non-translatables of South Indian Music” – Rajiv Malhotra (Infinity Foundation) with Vrinda Acharya on You Tube. Very impressed with the clarity of her understanding on the distinct identities of Indian classical music in general and Carnatic classical music in particular…vis-a-vis…Global Music Systems. Music can cause “resonance” at 4-levels…ie…Body, Mind, Intellect & Spirit – in that ascending order. Indian classical Music aims and attempts to touch the upper levels more than the lower levels. When “Nada” gets attuned to “Brahman” with Sahitya…the result is “Brahmananda”…!!!
