Each one of us are supposed to visit at least a few of these in our lifetime, and are hopefully doing so too. When out of home, we are very particular about the facilities in a given Pilgrimage. At Badrinath, you can stay in Anantha Mutt, which is very reasonably priced, food is south indian, our Udupi type food, very homely and friendly incharge, best place to stay, it is very closer to the Badrinath Bus stand, 2 -5 mins by walk depending on your speed. You can ask anybody for Anantha Mutt, from there you can again walk to the temple, which will take about 15-20 mins depending on your capacity to walk. Wish you pleasant journey.
